I recently decided to create my new business card. Trying to come up with an innovative design, I thought of Metro UI. Metro UI is used in desktop, Silverlight and, of course, Windows Phone 7 applications. So, why not apply it to a new-style business card?
I designed a dark and a white card front, both inspired from the official Windows Phone 7 "people hub". Optionally, someone may use the third image as the back of the card:
You can download the Photoshop files for free and customize them in order to fit your needs. Remember to remove the Windows logo if you have no legal rights to use it.
Download Windows Phone 7 business card Photoshop files.
Looking good. Cheers for the .psd files, definitely gonna come in handy!
great....looks so Microsoft......
Perfect vangos! Very beautiful template!
Might be a stupid question, but when I download I only get the black version. I would really like the white one.
Would really appreciate a quick step by step guide, using CS5.
Thanks for the great cards by the way!
Hi Tony. I appreciate your comment. Looking at the "Layers" panel after loading the .psd file, you'll see a folder named "Phone". Open it and make the "Screen light" layer visible by clicking on its left empty square. Same way, hide the "Screen dark" layer. Then, open the "Content" folder, make the "Light" folder visible and hide the "Dark" folder. You are done!
I hope this info helped you :-)
hello fellows,I just read your web work here, and I apreciated you are contributing with great knowledge!
kee up the hard work, see ya
Downloaded files on Windows Phone 7 with success, but unable to open PSD Files. Is there a Photoshop app available to download so I can edit PSD files?
Disregard comment, interpreted as electronic business card on phone. Understand now, the template was designed to help those make personnel business cards using a pc.
