@Vangos Do the source code and binaries work with OpenNi as well? Unfortunately the Kinect SDK is not supported on my mac

I am doing my greduatin project by kinect. İt will be a rehabilitation project not only drawing the joints. So i need the coordinates of the joints. I got them but i dont have any idea abouth the meanings of them. For example i got the lefthands coordinates while i am moving it up and down but i dont know what is the base point.İs it according to torso or wherever else. And How will i interpret these coordinate to compare the seans of the movements or speed of the movement and etc. help me please ?

hi, Vangos.

I got such exception on running the code.

"Call the constructor for the type of "KinectWPF.MainWindow", satisfying the specified binding constraints, led to an exception. ": the line number"3 "and position in the string"9 "."

I tried to locate the problem with following codes and I got three nodes with name "Depth1" "Device1" and "Image1". However, the next code threw an exception as above.

NodeInfoList list = Context.EnumerateExistingNodes();

foreach (NodeInfo info in list)

{

string s = info.GetInstanceName();

ProductionNode pd = Context.GetProductionNodeByName(s); //throw exception as above here

}

Any ideas about the solution? Thanks!

Thanks for this sample. It was very helpful.

The sample code seems to miss handling the very small amount of height contributed between hip center and either hip left or hip right. Perhaps this is intentional because it requires special handling to extract only the height component (i.e. the lateral distance from hip center to top of either of the hips is inappropriate). That contribution is likely so small as to be ignored for simplicity. Regardless, if I'm reading this code correctly, it diverges from both the introductory explanation and the skeleton graphic in two distinct ways: the intro paragraph skips hip left/right and the graphic includes the lateral distance between hip center and hip left/right.
